About

North Star Local 122 is an independent hometown news site for Minneapolis, St. Paul and Minnesota. We gather Minnesota’s headlines from the newsrooms that report them and keep a live eye on the weather, the daylight and the cost of a home.

Headlines on North Star Local 122 come from a licensed news API (Mediastack) and Google News, and every one links to the outlet that reported it. Live panels for weather, water, housing and travel are built from public data, credited where they appear. Alongside the news we publish announcements from businesses and organizations, clearly labeled as press releases.

North Star Local 122 is part of StateSync Recorder Media.
